![]() ![]() Check out the new myWW Program (formerly Weight Watchers). Here is a great (easy!) smoothie recipe you can try. It’s fun to play around with the different ingredients, though fruit (berries in particular) almost always end up being key players! One delicious treat that we never get tired of in this house? SMOOTHIES! Whether you count it as 0 points or add up the fruit points, it’s still a super refreshing, relatively low calorie snack or meal option as you strive to make healthier choices! As for me, knowing it’s going to take me a couple of hours to work through 1.25 cups of berries, some ice, almond milk and 1/4 c ff Greek yogurt? It’s a zero for me. So officially per WW, this smoothie (nor any other smoothie) is NOT zero points. That’s why I almost NEVER have a smoothie for breakfast – I don’t have two hours to work on that first meal of the day. It’s almost alarming how long it takes me to drink a smoothie. Me personally? A smoothie like the one pictured above would take me about two hours to drink. My own personal opinion? I do agree that WW is saying many people drink smoothies quickly which can lead you to be hungrier sooner. ![]() ![]() You can read more about this train of thought here.
